My Olympus worked fine for about 6 months. Randomly it started flashing up "Battery Empty" with fully charged rechargeable batteries in it (The kind I've always used in this camera with no problems). Taking the batteries out and putting them back in seemed to fool the camera for a while, but then it would start doing it again. This has gotten progressively worse over the last few months where I'll be lucky to get the camera going 1 in 10 times that I power it on.
Also, now whenever I turn it on and actually get it working, it flashes up with Set Date and Time. I do this, but when it is next powered on I get the same thing. I never had this problem previoulsy.
Is it worth taking this in to a repair shop, or should I just burn the darn thing?!
