Flip the unit over so it is resting on th screen with the on switch at the top you will see the reset and S/N tag. Pull this plastic tag off with twezzers or a knife. This will expose 2 torx screws size T-5. After removing the torx screws, right under the S/N plate sticker is a mount hole, locate this then pry apart with screw driver, be careful prying apart as there is a flex cable taped down to your pcb board. Remove the flex cable by opening the latch for it, there are 2 latches one small and one large and the cables are taped to the pcb board. Remove the speaker jack wire with tweezers.Next with a small jewlers screwdriver remove 3 phillips screws size ph00 from pcb board. Lift the pcb board out and disconnect the battery wire underneath. Next remove battery, it is stuck down with double sided tape and takes quite a bit of force to remove. It is a Garmin LI-ion 3.7v, 1.25 AH battery.
