Bauknecht GSX 4756w when I switch it on and set the dial to the wash setting, I close the door and it sounds as though it is about to start but after 30 secs just starts beeping. When I open it the cycle setting is always reset to rinse. Can't get it to switch on at all
My dishwasher will not start: Most common d/w power is 120 volts, check for 120 volts with a volt meter at the main power harness where it enters into the dishwasher, you will have to remove the lower access panels to get to the power box. Dishwashers also have at least one and most newer dishwashers have two door switches that must be checked. You will find then behind the console at the door latch area. Each manufacture has different designs but this is a picture of what some of the newer dishwasher switches look like.

Can you
Unjam the motor and the pump then Test the motor andthe motor start relay also Check the drive belt
you have to open it to do that, can you fix it your self
How long have you owned the unit? Are you able to repair this yourself at all or troubleshoot?
Thanks,
