Bauknecht GSX4756 problem (LED error codes needed)
Hi there, I have a Bauknecht GSX 4756 which sometimes (say 30% of the times) stops before the end of the cycle and beeps forever.
I followed some direction found on this forum to retrieve error code (since there's no display on my unit) and after powering up the unit with Start button pressed, I have the first two LEDs blinking (so Pre-Wash and Bio-Eco).
Could you give me some hints about where the problem might be?

Try this option as follows:-- Just press the programme button which changes the programme setting you want (on my built-in GSX4756 it's the last button on the right) and keep it pressed in until the beeping stops. Then start it again (will probably be on the rinse programme after you start). and then check out it will get reset and start working. but if still the same problem then some parts have to be checked and replaced 1) check out the filter if its blocked by food materials then clean it and check out again but if its same then filter needs replacement. 2) the heating element connections in the unit.if the connection gets loose the unit will flash this error lights. 3) but if filter and heating element both looks clean and in good condition then its problem of front control panel.that is getting short in between and that front control circuit panel needs replacement. you can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com or from www.partselect.com -------
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

Check/Repair
F1
Water heating fault, selected temperature not reached within 60 minutes
· Incoming water temperature too cool
· Heating element burned out
· Thermostat defective
F2
High water level
· Plugged/Bad water pump
· Defective water inlet valve
F3
Thermistor fault
· Open thermistor
· Bad wiring to thermistor
F4
Fault with water fill (only on machines with level-controlled fill)
Note: Lights blinking, pump running and controls dead indicates an over fill fault
1. Disconnect the power to the unit
2. Remove the lower access panels and check the tray under the dishwasher (you will probably find it is full of water)
3. Use a towel or a sponge to remove the water
4. There is a float that should stop the operation of the dishwasher and run the pump if water is in this tray. Check this pump to see if it is functional
5. Test the dishwasher
6. If there are no leaks from the dishwasher into the pan, check the drain hose under the sink
7. THE DRAIN HOSE MUST RUN UP TO THE TOP OF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COUNTERTOP THEN DOWN TO THE DRAIN. (If the hose is not set up like this, water from the sink drain will flow into the dishwasher and overfill the tray
*Faults may vary by model. Use this as a general guide.

Hi,
Unplug the Dishwasher, Disconnect the Power Supply and then Turn it ON, after few minutes say 30 minutes and Try to use the Dishwasher.
If it again Stops Mid Cycle, Check the following ;-
1. Is the Machine Beeps or Whistling? If whistling, then Kindly Make sure Water Pressure is OK. If that if Fine, you might need to replace Water Inlet Valve or Float Switch.
2. If it Beeps, then Take a look at :-
a) Water-heating cycle - Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows: On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time. On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.
b) Timer - Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
Thanks for your response!!
The purpose of Blinking is Only to tell you, there is something Wrong with the Dishwasher. All the Threads/ Forums you have read would tell you something :-
1. There are 7 lights blinking on my Kenmore Washer and the Dishwasher WONT WORK
http://www.fixya.com/support/t3124974-cl...
2. I could see a Long blink and then an Error on my Screen.
But, if the dishwasher is Stopping Mid Cycle, as of now i never seen a Dishwasher who could tell you the Fault reading the Blinks.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
