Two things
1. check your memory dimms are sloted in properly. You can remove and re-slot them back into the motherboard.
2. reset the bios on the motherboard.
I still feel this is a memory issue. I would suggest you have the memory tested using the software available at the link below
www.memtest.org
These are "beep codes" which are telling you something. The computer runs a "Power On Self Test" and if anything is wrong, it tells you that with this beep code. There is always a pattern to the beep code as you have noted. You need to know the make and model of your motherboard. then you can go to the website of the manufacturer and look up the beep codes. It will tell you something like:
Pattern 1 = no keyboard attached
Pattern 2 = no memory installed
Pattern 3 = no boot device detected
etc.
Armed with that information, you know what to do. If your BIOS is an AMI BIOS, the three short codes means there is a problem with the first 64K of your memory. Have you been inside the case? Could you have bumped the RAM?
Hello,
These beeps sound exactly like that of the RAM. If you are not too skeptical about going inside your PC, you can simply remove the RAM and reseat it back firmly. Sometimes this happens that the memory loses good connectivity and would just need a reseat.
Thanks,
