"Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer ..."
I was doing some file transfer from my Macbook Pro to the external harddisk. Both laptop and harddisk was placed on a solid table and nothing was moving nor was the transfer disturbed. Just suddenly a warning message flashed on the screen and the connection between harddisk and laptop was stopped. The message, +++++ Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled. To prevent damaging your computer, the USB device drawing too much power has been disabled. Other devices may have also been disabled. When you disconnect the device drawing too much power, your other USB devices will be enabled again. ++++++ Have tried connecting the harddisk to other laptops and computers but same message. Harddisk wasn't spinning went I connect. Same message appears. Haven't tried with a PC. Have tried connecting directly through harddisk internal USB cable or through the given USB connector. Not working as well. Appreciate some help here. Thanks so much!
