Been having issues with my 625. I noticed in the diagnostic listing...boot recovery says 2.. What exactly does boot recovery mean in terms of problems with the receiver? Sounds to me like a harddrive failure starting to happen.How can i fix

A Boot Recovery can take up to 4 hours to complete. When the receiver is in Boot Recovery mode (msg 981), the green light on the front of the receiver will flash rapidly. If this continues, please call 1-800-333-3474 and speak with Tech Support; the receiver may need to be replaced. I hope this helps.

If your receiver is going into boot recovery - this is a DOS based program- you will be better served by getting it replaced. On newly installed receivers this can occur as a result in the manufacturing process or re-manufacturing process and not cause further issues.
