Beeping After i messed with my bios my computer wont start. all it does is beep and reset. is there a way to reset my bios to defaults. the monitor does not turn on, just here a loud beep for about 5 seconds then it resets and starts the cycle over

A way that I seem to know works well for setting BIOS problems back to default is to pull the CMOS battery. Wait 5 minutes or so, then put it back in and try booting.
Yes there is, on some motherboards, you must open the case and physically move a jumper over and back to clear CMOS. JMOS or CLRCMOS are some of the most common wording to look for when looking on your motherboard for the jumper I am speaking about. The quickest way to find the jumper is to look in the motherboard book that came with your motherboard unless you bought a OEM NAMEBRAND computer...which will not have a motherboard book. but one things for sure there will be the jumper somewhere on the motherboard. Now, on some motherboards such as the one I have there is a CMOS clear switch that is outside the back of the computer for easy resetting of the bios to defaults, however, most motherboards do not have this function.
ALWAYS have the system power off when performing these steps...

did you plug in the memory modules. check that they are seated properly.
