Began making loud squealing noise
My Kirby Generation 3 began making a loud squealing noise from the area over the rear wheels. I bought this one new, and it has always been used properly with no 'abuse'. Is there a port or opening that I am not aware of where I can oil the workings?? How can I check for bearing damage?? I am in a small town with no serviceperson, and am not sure where to start.
Help! Company coming Sunday, and need to waltz with Kirby before they arrive!!

Sorry thats probablly the transmission going out it could be the main unit itself, if thats the case time for a whole new trans, but sometimes its the mechanism that turns the trans off and on, and those parts can be replaced independantly from the transmission iself but you would have to tear the whole thing apart to get it out but more importantly back in. a local vac shop with more than five years experience should be able to fix it.
