Belkin F1D210 Reverse KVM, Mouse not working
Hi,
I have had this reverse KVM for some time, it has worked great.A month or two ago I went to use one of the consoles and things didn't seem to be working correctly. I took the Reverse KVM out of the system and everything worked so I just hooked my kybd, mouse and Monitor directly to the kvm (I have a kvm that I was feeding into the reverse kvm , which let me control 8 computers from either of 2 operating positions). I just spent some time finally messing with the KVM to try to figure out what was wrong and I found that the mice don't work (either mouse). Both KB and Video seems fine but neither mouse worked. I switched the cable between the reverse KVM and the KVM (switched mouse and kb). KBs continued to work, mice did not. Connected each mouse individually directly to the kvm and they each work fine. Took the Reverse KVM out of the system and came on goole to see if I could find anything. i am assuming that the RS-232 drivers to the mouse port went, but I do not know how to open the reverse KVM to check them. Is the Reverse KVM case one of those kind that breaks if you try to get in it, or is there some magic to getting it open ? (or does anyone have any other idea besides the RS-232 driver what might be wrong ?)

Thanks !
Joe
