My laptop will connect to the internet using the ethernet cable directly to the cable modem. If I connect the Belkin Wireless G to the cable modem using the ethernet cable the laptop gets a strong signal to the router but I can't connect to the internet. I've had this router for a couple years with my DSL service and it worked fine. Now I have a cable modem and can't connect to the internet.
