Bernina minimatic 707 - needle isn't going up and down. I've turned the hand wheel away from me but the machine isn't sewing? Is there something else I have pressed?
Ooh, do not turn the handwheel backward. Most newer machines have a lock that prevents this.
If you had it serviced recently, take it back immediately. This indicates to me they didn't address some existing issues.
It would be difficult to diagnose without seeing the machine operate. If it worked for a couple hours and then seized, I would be tempted to oil again with Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube and follow up with heated air from a handheld hairdryer. (I've had to repeat the process several times on some seized machines before they are fully loosened and operating smoothly.) However, the clunky sound could be disconcerting.
