BIOS defaults despite new Battery
I am loosing time and BIOS defaults when the Computer is Unplugged from AC. I have replace the mother board battery but the problem persists. There is a 3 point pin header near the battery. A jumper links two pins. Perhaps it is in the wrong place. What is the correct place and what else can I check?
Thank you,

Unless you have cleared the cmos the jumpers should be in the right place, but check the JBAT1 or CLRMOS or CLRCLK, depending on mobo, if tey are over pins 1 and 2 move to 3 and 4 or visa versa
