Hi everyone, I'm honestly not sure if this is a problem or not, but I'd rather get an opinion on it than ignore it and have this become a problem. This morning when I was backing up I accidentally had my kickstand down and it rubbed against the ground. It left a small streak of metal on the ground, but no big deal. It did, however, make me take a look at the kickstand just in-case I had put too much pressure on it and bent it. I'm not sure if it's always done this but, are the kickstands supposed to bend a little when they settle down or are they meant to stay rigid? The base of the kickstand remains firm when I put it down and it seems that variable pressure is softened by the kickstand itself (by bending forwards) rather than any mechanism on the bike (such as a spring). The bend is small but I just can't recall if I've seen it bend before. I'd just hate for it to snap and come back to a crushed row of bikes. Thanks a lot!
