Turn unit on and all lights come on, LCD reads HEATING, about 5 seconds later you hear a very soft "click" and the blue light on the LCD screens goes out (all other lights still on, and the word HEATING still appears) but the unit does not make another sound, not does the water ever heat. unplugging and plugging back in does nothing,,, or lightly shaking. HELP!!! It's maybe a year old!!!

The heating element has a thermal fuse in it which most likely has opened causing the element to not heat.
