HEY...It's seems your evileyes had burnt a holes to your backlight inverter. Hehehe... Well, you need a new inverter or you can fix it yourself... by replaced a capacitors. Good lucks!
If you had a LCD monitor, your inverter is located in were you plugged your power cord. If you had a LCD monitor with a AC Adapter. Then the inverter located inside, it's a rectangle piece on the left hand side. Don't forget to checked you AC Adapter too...seeing if it have power or not. With power it should lite green. If not, you will need to replaced the capacitors too. But if you got a CTR monitor...
