Black screen when trying to adjust settings
When I press the system or settings button on the remote and change the input I just get a black screen. It was fine until I was adjusting the sound the other day and I must have changed something...Any ideas???

I seem to be having the same problem...Can someone who's Bose is working give me instructions on how to change the TV input? I know the system is working its just on a different input..So when i press "System", it says see tv but goes to a black screen. I can still change the settings I just can't see what I'm pressing. SO if one of you could tell me what buttons to press in order to change the TV in put, I could try fixing the problem on my bose...Please help..

PRESS THE ENTER AND POWER BUTTOMS AT THE SAME TIME .THE SETTINGS WILL BE ON THE BOX NOW, HIT THE VOLUME BUTTON UNTIL US OR FEDERAL SETTING SHOWES ON THE BOX SCREEN.TURN OFF AND WAIT ABOUT 45 SECONDS AND TURN BACK ON.
Double check to be sure the TV is on the proper input.
Can you still play a DVD? If DVDs still play, reset the system by unplugging the power cord for a minute. The menus should return.
If DVDs don't play either you may have accidentally changed a video setting. Fortunately you can access the video settings from series II and III systems with the buttons on top of the console. If would be best to call Bose tech support so they can walk you though accessing the video settings. 800-367-4008
