BlackBerry 9530; Reload software os 507
Reload software os 507
Desktop manager does not see the phone but BlackBerry Device Manager does see my 9530. Tried replacing the battery to get a full reboot connected to BB Desktop manager three + trys.
Any suggestions?

Hi.
- In Device Manager, double-click the RIM Handheld icon.
- In the RIM Handheld Properties window, click the Driver tab.
- Click Uninstall or Remove.
- In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK.
- Close Device Manager.
- Reinstall BlackBerry Desktop Software by completing the following steps:
For Windows XP:
- On the taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- From the list of currently installed programs, click BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Click Change/Remove.
- In the InstallShield® Wizard, click Repair.
- Click Next.
- Once the software has finished installing, click Finish.
For Windows Vista:
- On the taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
- In Control Panel, double-click the Programs and Features icon.
- From the list of currently installed programs, click BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
- Click Change/Remove.
- In the InstallShield Wizard, click Repair.
- Click Next.
- Once the software has finished installing, click Finish.
- Perform a clean removal of BlackBerry Desktop Software. For instructions, see KB02206.
- Restart the computer.
- Install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Software fromyour wireless service provider's web site. For more information, seethe Installing the Desktop Software section in the BlackBerry Desktop Software Release Notes.
- Disconnect and then connect the BlackBerry smartphone again using the USB cable.
Also ensure that the USB driver on computer is 2.0, new BB software does not support USB 1.1.
Try removing the USB driver and reinstalling BB desktop software.
