Blackberry shuts off and red light keeps flashing. I take the battery out and put it back in and it still wont work. Then randomly it will turn on and work for a bit. Im so lost, please help!

The flashing red light is telling you that the battery is almost drained down to capacity and that the phone must be plugged in now. When the charge is this low you are going to have to leave the phone recharge for at least 12 hours before trying to use it again. Once the phone is turned back on, the phone will reset itself.
