I took a fan out of one house and put it in another. It worked fine in the old house. Installed it in the new house, the light works off one wall switch and the fan works off another wall switch. The light switch works great but when you turn on the fan wall switch the blades will not turn by themselves, the motor hums so I know it is trying to work. There is no binding of the blades and I can spin the blades manually, they will turn for a few minutes because I can hear the motor trying to turn them.
