Blank screen, No video signal
Whenever I turn on my PC I am getting a blank screen. But then after a week or a day it will show video just fine but then I shut the pc and turn it on again and there will be no video. The video will remain on as long as the pc is on and I don't reboot. I tried this with two monitors and got the same thing. The pc turns on just fine. The video card cooling fan is spinning so it is working. This is a new card just installed it about 3 months ago but this started happening about a month ago.
How can I fix this and how can I get the video to come on so that I can make the changes to solve this issue????
Thanks!!

You Have To REmove Your Card (uniunstall)
And Install it Again From The Cd Installation
First remove the graphic card and connect the monitor cable to video output of the mother board check the symbol of the monitor which at port connect the monitor and check if the video is coming on it , if yes then is the problem with graphic card get it replaced as its still under warranty ......
Good luck...
First check the cable by moving it to test it influences the siignal.
If cable it is ok, then it is probably a faulty video adapter.
A replacement video adapter starts from $7, you can buy a good video adapter for $30 or so.
If you buy you can ask here how to replace it, it is not a difficult operation.
Seems that everyone is taking the video driver approach, since this isn't working, let's try a different approach. I believe that this is going to be a bios or an incompatibility issue. Try the bios download from the link bellow.
http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/BIOS/Asus/Asus-P5E-Deluxe-Bios-0105.shtml
Yeah, you can try the bios download I posted earlier.
Have you tried the bios download?
Go into safe mode and uninstall graphics
driver then try and load windows.
as you have tried every solutions and got understood of many things.but calling the technician is a better option to try.as he will be doing it on site.and it would be more beneficial.
please rate the solution.sir.thanks.
Well here is somthiong for you to try ok first i would power down the pc now unplug the power wires to the motherboard from the power supply now press and hold the bowerbutton for 15 seconds to release any esd now if you have not all ready done so remove the card and get a eraser and clean along the edges of the card then make sure that the card is clean and you may want to insert it into a different pci slot and replace the screw dont overtighten it ok now plug in the motherboards wire form the powersupply and plug in the powercord to the pc and turn it on and see what happenes pleasee let me know what is going on ok best regards mike
i am still curious is the problem fixed yet or is it still ongoing best regards mike
You need to update the drivers
- Re-seat the Graphic Card
- Go to BIOS and Rest the BIOS to defaults
- Click here on the support and go to drivers and update the drivers

Definite hardware issue (as you don't see nothing on boot).
double-check the compatibility + requirements.
re-seat the video card.
better if u can try it on another computer + observe.
go for warranty.
Since you have not mention PC specifications, so I assume, Back-Up battery in PC looks down. Its installed on board, please replace it.
You right, in 4 months, back-up battery would be fine, no need to replace it. How does PC respond when power up? does it show company logo while booting up?
Try to uninstall/reinstall the video card and make sure that you're installing the software from the setup CD and also you can try updating the software of the video card if you still have the problem after uninstalling/reinstalling it..
Hope that helps.........
If this MOBO has a on board video, this is the way way to really check what is causing this prolem, or if yoiu can just try a different video card because if that another video card work fine definitely we already know the problem is with the video card , because it really dont have any thing to do with the battery...
Good luck........
Yes, this is really cause by the video card and better haev it replace..
Good luck........
