Blinking "Replace Battery" light on Omni Smart 1400 PNP
Our "Omni Smart 1400 PNP" (#1) had dead batteries, so we replaced them (#2).
When powered on, the "Replace Battery" light blinks ... something
not covered in the manual. (Manual discusses it being off or being continuously on.)

Any suggestions?

Speaking of manuals ... the tripp-lite.com web site doesn't know about our model (#3)
(OM3389, aka "Omni Smart 1400 PNP"). It knows about "OmniSmart 1400" (no blank, no "PNP"),
and about "OmniSmart 300 PNP" (no blank) ... the manuals for those two are essentially
identical to each other, and neither mention a blinking "replace battery" light.

The UPS's date code is JX2AU

thanks,

#1. yes, that's the exact spelling and spacing ... not "OmniSmart" like Tripp-Lite uses now.
Our guess is that Tripp-Lite dropped the space from the phrase
"Omni Smart" sometime after we purchased ours.

#2. yes, with the correct model/style of batteries :)

#3. *many* non-Tripp-Lite web pages have "OmniSmart 1400 PNP" references, so it's not just us!
