Fan never had high speed but had the slower speeds it would quit working on occasion but I could tap on it and it would start working now I can't get it to come back on
Buy one from salvage and replace it. Most are easy to pull off, often held in place by 3 medium sized screws. Also buy a new resistor pack for the heater circuit. About $10 or $15. That should give you back all speeds on the blower. To find it, just follow the wire from the blower connector back towards the blower switch. It should be close to the blower motor and under the dash, and screwed into the heater case where it can be cooled by air blowing through the heater case.
