Blu-ray discs all of the sudden incompatible and won't play
I owned spiderman for a few months and always played just fine, one day it became incompatible...both discs in the set. I unplugged player,plugged it back in and I got one disc to work but not the other. Ended up returning dvd to store...claiming it was the dvd because other blu-ray dvds worked fine that day.
Rented Hulk put it in player and disc incompatible again. Tried several times, unplugged unit..nothing. 4 year comes along and tries and it worked...BUT since the dvd was stopped and removed from player we cannot get it to play again due to disc incompatible. installed latest update per Sharp-usa site and still not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Look for a firmware upgrade for your player. They exist for sole purpose of increasing compatibility with newer blu ray releases. If that does not do the trick it appears that your player's laser assembly is losing its ability to focus on the disk(s). Repair is not cost effective and you will have to go shopping.
