4) Do you have two Ram Memory slots? Only installing ONE Ram Memory module? ('Stick') Ram Memory MUST be in Slot 1. (DIMM 1) The Processor reads what is in Slot 1 FIRST.
5) Are you sure beyond a shadow of a doubt Mr. Mason (What?), that the Ram Memory module/s are seated tightly, and correctly?
If you are adding more RAM to the existing RAM then then new RAM maybe incompatible with the existing RAM. Use RAM that is the same specs as the existing RAM and from the same manufacturer.
