BMW headlight cover
The headlight shield is dirty on the inside, and needs to be cleaned - but in the owner's manual I can't find any instructions about how to remove the shield.
Any ideas please, and any advice on what to use (and what NOT to use!) to clean the inside of the shield?

Yes, but I would like to refer you to a link, because there are fragile plastic parts that can easily be broken, and this link has large, concise, clear photos. (A picture is worth a thousand words)

I suggest using mild soapy water to clean the lens shields. Rinse accordingly, and you can even use a blow dryer, to speed the process up. (To wife: Excuse me honey, can I borrow your blow dryer?)
