The bobbin sits on a bobbin holder for winding. To initiate winding, the winder leaver should be pushed toward the bobbin on the holder. If the bobbin is over-winding, the winder leaver needs to be rotated so that the section pointing towards the bobbin is closer. This can be done by gently rotating the winding leaver by hand, remember gently. It will not need much rotation, so do not overturn ... most of all be gentle. If it does not budge, the screw in the middle of the winder lever may be loosened and the winder leaver rotated. Make sure to tighten the screw when finished. This should get the bobbin comfortably full. If the bobbin still continues to over-wind then the sensor underneath may need attention by you local technician. Do not attempt to open your Viking 1 as it may cause extensive damage and.will also null all warranties Let me know how you go. Cheers.
