Booting i have a gateway solo 1200 it was booting normally then the fan got bad.now when i power on it lights for a few seconds then goes off with no signal on the screen even when i plug it directly thinking the it will boot but the power light comes on for few seconds then goes off again.please if there is someone with thesame problem do help me.thanks

Has the fan been replaced? If not then the laptop will power itself off to protect from overheating. The fan is like a switch in the loop. Like old Xmas lights. One not working then none will work.
