Booting issues...Connected to RAM?
When I try to boot my Dell Dimension 2350 it starts to boot, then a few seconds later it shuts off. When I remove the ram it makes a beeping noise but the desktop stays on. But if I keep the ram inside it will start then shut down. I have been toying with the ram as the previous owner was running it on only 256megs. Why is it doing this? Please help.

Most likely cause is that your new RAM is not compatible with your system. Check the user manual to determine the type and size of RAM that you can use in this machine.
