Borrowed duracraft 2831 6 m i d from my landlord. when i plugged it in it was working fine but had a very strong odour of wet plaster so i unplugged it and gave it a good clean. when i plugged it again the red full water lite was glowing and a reading of P2 was lit up????? i left it unplugged for a few days but there was no change when i tried to operate it. Any ideas? If i don't get this sorted my landlord will want the £95.00 he said he had paid for it. PLEASE HELP. Thanks Sue

It was borrowed and not hired
it is at lenders liability and you are under no obligation to pay for it
It was faulty from the minute you plugged it in so he may be try to get a new one from you
if push comes to shove , ask for the original receipt for the item and if it is more than a few months old , then he has no legal claim for a new one
