My Westinghouse 32" hdtv is cutting off the top and bottom of the screen in standard mode. Obviously Fill and Overscreen modes are far worse. How can I reset the screen?

I had the same problem on my 47 inch Westinghoust HDTV. It turned out to be a problem related to my satellite tv (Direct TV) remote controller. Someone inadvertently hit the "format" key and jacked it up. I set back to it's original position and get the full screen. Don't know if you have cable or satellite, but this may help someone having this problem,
