Bought a 42 inch lcd polariod flat screen about 2 yrs ago. while watching tv the picure went to an almost white screen, with just the faint outline of people and objects on it. What happened? Could it be lighting struck?

More likely to be the porblem in the T-CON board (driven by Logic bd.) or the main Logic board.
