Brand new echo pb-251 blower, used it 3 times for 5 minutes each time and it worked perfectly, now the fourth time using it the engine starts easy and idles but engine sputters and misses when pressing down the throttle. i don't like the fact that echo plugs the high speed adjustment screw so you can't adjust it. i changed the spark plug, fuel filter and air filter for the heck of it, knowing the ones i replaced only had 15 minutes of use on them. the blower is brand new. i'd hate to take it to a dealer but i guess i will have to, any input would be appreciated, hank from chesapeake virginia

You should be able to remove the exhaust "tailpipe" with a crescent wrench or socket. This will let you access the spark arrester screen which, when clogged will cause symptoms you describe. Put a torch on the screen and scrub it with a wire brush. The screen fouls often when using blower at low throttle- full throttle use keeps it cleaner, longer. Can't imagine 15 minutes being enough to cause this problem, check your mix and use 90+ octane gas.
You can thank the EPA for your blower problem the EPA makes all brands of lawn equipent "tamper proof" with plugs and limit caps. not just echo......when we service an echo piece of equipment we let it "break" in and adj the carb as needed BEFORE it leaves my shop. dont hesitate to bring it back to the dealer, if they are reputable, they will do the adj while you wait......hope this helps. good luck
