It is not that young anymore. The rechargeable battery is (almost?) dead. It is almost impossible to replace it. I once tried it, took me more than a day yo put everything together and still it never was as before. I have bought a new Braun (799) and I'm convinced this one will live longer. The rechargeable battery in this one, you can shave one hour before you need to recharge it. It lasts a week with me, or sometimes even longer, before I have to charge it again.
Perhaps you just use the shaver with the power cord, like we used to do for 20 years, and start saving for a new one?
