Have set timer properly (the colon is flashing), and 3 hours appear on the display. The readout does count down, as "if" the breadmaker is working. The ingredients just sit there. No mixing occurs. The paddle has been pushed firmly down, and is in proper position. The bread pan locks properly into position when pushed down. What else could the problem be? I've read/re-read the instructions and have done everything properly.
