Breadman Ultimate bread pan leaks
My bread pan on the Breadman Ultimate is leaking. Liquid comes out from around the circular piece attached to the bottom of the bread pan on the outside at the bottom. I don't know if the seal is leaking or what it is. Is there a way this can be fixed? If not, is there a replacement part?

Remove the rubber washer that fits around the center post, split it into the two halves and glue a #31 O-ring (9/16ODx5/16IDx1/8) to the bottom washer. This worked on my pan on a TR2828 and are no longer available. It worked for mne so far.
Hi Donna,
Leaky seals typically require replacement, and yes, that sounds like what it is.
Plan A
I'd contact the manufacturer (Salton, Inc.) customerservice site for parts.
Go to
http://prc.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/
And click on "Breadman" (upper-right portion of the page), it redirects you to a secure webpage where you can register.
https://secure.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/bm.shtml
Part of the page reads:
"Call toll-free or visit our websites for assistance if you need more help.
Parts & Accessories:
Phone: 1-800-738-0245 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., ET)

Plan B
If Salton no longer supports that model, your best bet is contacting a vendor who specializes in selling aftermarket manuals and spare parts. The best one I've found is
http://www.breadmakerguru.com/
and no, I have no financial or other relationship with them (wish I did). There are other sources online as well, but I've been impressed with the selection that Breadmakerguru.com carries. If they don't carry the part, they may be able to find someone who does.
Plan C
Searching eBay or other online auction/sales site (yes, there are others besides eBay).
