Breaker was switched off - and I do not see the flame inside the little hole on the unit - does the flame always stay lit or just when the unit kicks on ?
Your furnace has a hot surface ignitor that ignites the gas only when there is a call for heat. I'm including a link to the installation guide for your GMS90703BXA gas furnace. Page 29 of this guide includes the "Sequence of Operation" for the heat mode.
