Breaking starter casings
When ever I try to start the car something is breaking the starter casing. It was running fine and without any warning it started breaking starters..I have never heard of this and none of the mechanics I talked to have either. Please help. 1999 GMC Suburban

You should maybe have the timing checked some times if they are out of time on the chain they will backfire when turning over causing the engine to turn backward when starter is engaged this will break the nose right off have seen this many times on GM.
