broil oven
We have the Farberware T4850 that we purchased in 1995, but didn't use all that much. we just took in out of storage and decided to start using it again. when I cook in it the plug and cord start to get very very hot. Is this normal or should we stop using it and can it be fixed. your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. thank you

This is very dangerous and could hurt someone or cause a fire!
Unfortunately if this oven is that old you can buy a new one for the same or less than repairing it!
