Broken crankshaft on Poulan PP4218AVX Chainsaw
As I was gently taking apart my chainsaw for cleaning today, the end of my crankshaft holding the sprocket for the clutch on just fell off. The end of the shaft just sheared off very neatly, so I looked up all the instructions on how to swap out the clutch since I already have another Poulan saw I can use for parts. I got the clutch off the parts saw only to realize that crankshaft is on there pretty good. Is there any easy way to remove the shaft from the broken/parts saw and put it on the other saw? I know everything there is to know about how to remove/replace all the clutch parts. I just need to know if it's possible to take out the crankshaft and swap it out with the other saw.
