Broken Power Source
My kids tripped over the power cord and pulled the whole plug out of the side of my Balalnce Laptop, Model 557S. Is this worth fixing or would it be cheaper to replace the whole computer? I realy would like some of the data that is stored on the laptop.

Take it to a PC shop and ask them to solder the end of the power cord to the plug in the back of the PC. Back-up your data and realize that you may have a permanent fix or be on borrowed time.
