Brother CS-8150 Problems with bobbin thread
I have a brother CS-8150. Yesterday it was working just fine. When the bobbin ran out of thread, I refilled it and put it back (like always).
Now the bobbin thread does not link with the needle thread. I have cleaned my machine and checked for burrs and although everything is in perfect condition, it still doesn't work.
I am fairly certain that the problem lies in the bobbin case somehow since when I tried sewing extremely slowly to see the problem I noticed that the bobbin is not turning at all.
I unplugged my machine and removed the needle plates so that I could watch the mechanisms. When I slowly turn the handwheel I can see that the metal case underneath the plastic bobbin holder is not catching the bobbin thread at all. The thread simply remains stationary in the plastic bobbin holder.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Double check to see if the bobbin is in upside down and the thread is feeding from the bobbin spool in the wrong direction.
I did this once after several years using the same machine, some days are just not as easy as they should be!
