Brown sticky spots
Hi,
After washing a load of dishes, we found the dishes were covered with numerous brown sticky spots as well as inside of the dishwasher. We ALWAYS rinse the dishes before we load them in to the machine, it is very unlikely it was from the food residue, plus the sticky stuff felt like lubricant iol and very very hard to be cleaned off. It never happened before and our KitchenAid dishwasher is only one year old. Please help!

Sounds like you have an oil leak from the motor/pump assembly. this should be covered under warranty by the mfg. have a technician replace the sump assembly.
