Burner problems with Thermador Range
I have a Thermador Dual Fuel Range model number RDDS30VQ. I need to remove the top cooktop to check to see why the two XLO burners on the left side of the stove will not light. I may need to replace the electronic assembly as I have read others have done this. My question is: How do I get the cooktop cover off to gain access to the valves/electronics? There are two clips on the front that I have released and the top prys open only an inch or so and then I meet resistance like it is still attached. I am afraid to pry harder for fear I may break something. Help!!

Sounds to me like you have done everything correct. Maybe get a flashlight and look in there and see if some wires are hanging up but from my experience the hinges sometimes kinda get stuck so you have to wiggle the top side to side a little while pulling up at the same time. Go slowly and I'm sure if there is something that you missed, you will catch it before you break it.
