One of 3 things may have occur 1st loose connection between keypad to upper electronics, 2 nd Defective keypad , last but not least the upper electronics. If you are able to disassemble the upper console inspect and look if any connections that are loose , physically pull and replace connectors one at a time, then test your unit to see if key function return. Proceed to next step is replacement of keypad, if not it then it is the upper electronics.
