Buzz on headphones after PatchMix DSP starts
Computer: Dell Precision 650
mixer: Soundcraft Compact10
cables: Hosa shielded 1/4" stereo pair (two mono leads molded together)
There is a relatively loud buzz on my headphones. Audio stills comes through over the buzz.
I've recently moved and I didn't notice this buzz before the move. When I unplug the cables going from the EMU-0404 to the mixer, the buzz stops.
I'm still using the same version of the drivers and apps as I did before the move:
EmuPMX_PCApp_L6_2_10_00.exe
EmuPMX_PCDrv_L6_2_00_11.exe
I've also tried turning off anything/everything else that might cause the problem, but the only way the buzz stops is when I unplug those cables.
When shutting down the computer, as soon as the EMU drivers and PatchMix app are unloaded by the OS, the buzz stops.
Any suggestions?
