c from thermostat in the dining room and hours later turned back on. Fan started up no problem and ran a few minutes but shortly after turned off again. Everything in basement (furnace part) appears to be running properly. Any ideas??

The fan motor is thermally protected the motor seems to be cutting out on the overload replace the fan motor
