c heater. It will turn on and function but will not turn off automatically by the thermostat. I can turn it down to a lower temp and it will go off. When it comes back on at that setting it will not turn off again unless i turn it down further. I assume the thermostat is bad? Where do i get one. Thanks, Jim
It is cheaper to replace the unit at this point. They are made as "Throw Away" units. They cost $30 to replace, but the tstat your looking for could cost up to $40 to replace. Sorry for bad news.It is cheaper to replace the unit at this point. They are made as "Throw Away" units. They cost $30 to replace, but the tstat your looking for could cost up to $40 to replace. This means that the Tstat is broken. You will need to obtain a new one.
