c in a 98 ford escort called and where is it located? I'm trying to get one from the junk yard and change it myself. The car has been troubleshot already by hot wiring the compressor to verify correct compressor operation
Which area of the vehicle are we speaking of??? There are several electronic components, but I'm not sure which one you need. Please reply back with response, thanks.
Well, I do know its not either the high or low pressure switches, the compressor, or the compressor clutch. I assumed that electrocic control box was the only part of the a/c left. I believe the car's a/c control is embedded in another elec box that controls many other things. I guess that's what I'm asking. Am I correct in saying the A/C does not work? The compressor does not kick in? If the compressor does not cycle or cycles too frequently, than there is not enough freon in the system. Freon just doesn't disappear, and low or no freon indicates a leak. At this point I see no reason to suspect any electronic control module at this point. Has this system been pressure tested?Am I correct in saying the A/C does not work? The compressor does not kick in?
