C just experienced slight power surge. Compressor on
RVP 8000 A/C just experienced slight power surge. Now compressor won't shut off unless I trip breaker. Fan doesn't run on "auto", just when placed in "fan" position. Unit still cools fine. What's up? Stuck relay? Where would I find it?

I'm leaning toward sticky relay as well, but if you want to confirm it's not thermostat, remove thermostat from wall, and temporarily disconnect the yellow wire from thermostat (compressor) when/if, it happens again. If compressor stays running, I'd say relay for sure.
Just for future reference , Gray wire from thermostat is low fan, green wire is high fan, yellow is compressor, blue is ground. ( For cooling side) The red is 12 v + to furnace and white is negative to furnace.(heat side)
8000 a/c when turned on just hums, shut off and removed inside screen to look at fan. turned back on and moved fan wheel . ran great. shut off and tryed again, same thing. runs great if move fan wheel every time...?? motor?
